CASA BH2
CASA BH2 is a single-family home located in the municipality of Sant Josep de Sa Talaia, on the island of Ibiza. The plot features a north-to-south slope, allowing for seamless integration with the surrounding landscape. The layout of the house, terrace, and pool follows the natural descent of the terrain, creating a dynamic and fluid relationship between the different levels of the site.

The design concept of CASA BH2 is based on a white, clean, and pure rectangular form—a modern and simple volume. This structure is framed by high stone walls, which not only provide solidity and privacy but also echo the island’s traditional building methods. A cross-shaped stone wall runs through the home, acting as both a symbolic and functional element that divides and organizes the spaces efficiently.
The house is laid out over two floors. The basement level houses the garage, technical rooms, and water tanks—serving all necessary functions without interfering with the living areas.
The ground floor contains the main living space, which includes a large open-plan living-dining-kitchen area. This luminous and flowing space is ideal for family life and shared enjoyment. Also on this level are a guest WC and three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. One of the bedrooms is a suite, featuring a walk-in closet and a private bathroom, offering a higher level of privacy and comfort.
The architectural style of CASA BH2 is defined by a modern aesthetic that draws inspiration from traditional Ibicencan architecture. While the design is contemporary, the use of stone and natural materials clearly references the island’s vernacular construction, blending harmoniously with the environment.
The plot also includes a swimming pool that, like the house, adapts to the sloping terrain—offering a leisure and relaxation area with views of the rural landscape. The terrace, closely connected to the living spaces, invites year-round enjoyment of the outdoors and fosters a continuous connection with nature.
